How did you get into Photography?

As a teenager, I would always take lots of pictures with friends. When I was 19, I soon realized that I liked taking pictures in general, not just pictures of people. My family encouraged me to continue with it, without the proper camera or editing tools, I practiced taking different shots and scenes. I received a new camera right before my 23rd birthday, which has given me a whole new perspective on photography. I spend days at a time just editing my photos until they seem perfect to me. I think editing is even more fun than taking the actual picture sometimes! Right after my 23rd birthday, I decided to open a shop on Etsy to sell my photography. Most recently, I have opened a new shop, LolaBee Photography. I have big plans in the works for both of them, but just like editing, we'll have to wait and see how everything turns out...

Artist #2: NeatBeading

She calls New Zealand home, has very wonderful taste and as you can see below has a wonderful talent for making unique jewelry. One lucky winner will be able to take this bracelet home with them for either a Mother's Day gift or a gift to themselves

Tell us about your craft and how you came to do such beautiful work:



Sometimes, when I look at my many, many (but never enough) containers of beads, I wonder how I got here. The answer is, I fell in love with beads. That's where it began. Beads. Tiny, uniform, colourful beads. So I bought some. Then some more. And amidst all the bead buying, it occurred to me that I actually needed to do something with them. So I started making bracelets. Bracelets like I liked. Wide cuffs that looked great and made me feel so glamorous. Then my friends noticed my new accessories, and marvelled at the designs and the tiny beads ("How do you attach them?", "Don't you go cross-eyed?", "I could never do that") and asked if I was selling them. So here I am, trying to make my bead habit self-sustaining. Putting my creations out into the world. I hope you like them.

Where did you get such a fun shop name from?

My shop is named after my grandmother, without whom, I would never be the person I am today. Love you Gran.

Tell us how you learned to make such wonderful cards.
I am a Graphic Designer and and Fine Arts Student. I love paper and silkscreen and, well, everything creative. Each silkscreened item in my shop is hand-pulled by me, one at a time. Other ways to follow this Artist:
