Extreme Healing, Joplin Edition

After months of having our town constantly reminded of the tragic events of May 22, our city finally had some big excitement come to us this past week.  The show Extreme Home Makeover came to Joplin along with a load of volunteers and not only built some incredible homes but boosted our moral.  Here are some photos I took of the reveals and other activities.

This is brief. I'm not sure if I will post a bigger post later but I just wanted to let people know to pray for Joplin, Thankfully my home and many other friends' homes are fine.  I did have six friends whose homes were either damaged or destroyed.  If you would like to help please send either gift cards or monies to the local churches.
